Marion Irene Kienia, 73, of 5 Noel St., Hudson, NH, died July 6 2002, at home after a lengthy battle with lung cancer.
Born March 24, 1929, in Nashua, NH she was the daughter of John and Marie Reine (Henri) Ellis.
Mrs. Kienia was educated in Hudson schools and pursued a piano education in Pelham, NH. She had retired in 1994 from Beemis Corporation and at one time worked at the former Centronics Corporation. She had been employed in the plastic industry for 50 years and had worked for Irwin Toys(Nashua Plastics).
Mrs. Kienia enjoyed her entire family immensely, children being her passion, also interested in birds and animals, cards, puzzles, scrabble, bowling, sewing, piano/organ.
She was the wife of George Kienia of Hudson, with whom she celebrated her 52nd wedding anniversary on April 1, 2002.
Besides her husband, family members include two daughters, six brothers, one sister, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several neices, nephews, and cousins.
Donations to the American Cancer Society was Mrs. Kienia's request.Address is ACS at Gail Singer Memorial Bldg., 360 Route XXX1, Suite 501, Bedford, NH 031XXX-5032.
Service Information
Funeral services held at Sullivan/Dumont Funeral Home, Main St.,Nashua,NH on July 9, 2002. Grandson Minister Scott Carlson officiated with a very personal service at which his wife Tina sang spiritual songs. Grandson Aric Goddard spoke and read a rememberance of Marions long time friend Pat Dowling. Neighbor Sandy Hart spoke of lovely rememberances of Marions kindnesses.
