|Obituary posted by : Racheal Marie McCormick , daughter || Person Description|| Linda May Cole passed away unexpectedly in her sleep Oct 29, 2005. A strong woman, a survivor in every aspect, she lived with the love she had in her children: Cheryl Ahern, Robert Ahern, Patricia McCormick, and Racheal McCormick. The daughter of Albert Roy Cole and Margorie Alice Cole (Smith),sister to George Cole, Roy Cole, Patricia Sullivan, and Lillian Blundell (Cole, Linda was born on June 23, 1952 in Malden, Ma in the early hours that morning. She spent most of her life in that area and persuded many jobs but her passion as a Nurse was something Linda cherished. Taking care of others that were ill was something she loved. Most times she ignored her own illness' to concentrate on that of the well being of her patients. Linda endured many battles in her life both personal and medical, but one thing was always the same. Linda was a survivor. Although life was never easy for her, she never gave up. For over the last ten years, Linda resided in Glen Saint Mary, Florida with the love and support of her very good friend Ron Perry, whom I will hold the highest amount of gratitude. Thanks to him, Linda spent her last years the happiest she had been in a long time. She lived there with Ron and her other close friend Rich Stutlz. She enjoyed the simple things in life, something that never came easy to her. She enjoyed taking care of her plants, gardening, and her animals. Something so simple as this brought joy to her life, and I thank Ron for bringing her there. She will be missed. Rest in Peace Mom.
If I could give you diamonds, for each tear you cried for me
If I could give you sapphires, for each truth you helped me see
If I could give you rubies, for the heartache you have known
If I could give you pearls, for the wisdom you have shown
Then you'll have a treasure, mother that would mount up to the skies
That would almost match the sparkle in your beautiful shining eyes
But I have no pearls, no diamonds as I'm sure you're well aware
So I'll give you gifts more precious,
my devotion, love and care.
