Sally E. George entered into rest February 5, 2007 in San Antonio at the age of 60. She was born November 22, 1946 in San Antonio to Elizabeth (Kuhlman) Awalt and the late Leroy Awalt. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, and attended Trinity University. She was self employed and owner of her own business. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years William A. (Bill) George in 2001. Survivors include her sons Donald S. George & wife Carolyn, Patrick D. George; granddaughters Meagan Taylor and Sage George; aunt, Mrs. M.L. Roark; and numerous cousins.

I remember Sally being in the Lee-ettes and practicing for the Fiesta Parade. She was trying to get us in line. This is my most vivid memory of her. I can still picture her standing there in her uniform giving us direction.
