| Louise “Peppy” (Peverada) Hagar born May 28th 1934 in South Portland, Maine to William and Thelma (Young) Peverada died October 6th in her Lake Havasu home of heart failure after a long illness. She attended Holy Cross and Cathedral schools in Portland, Maine. She had many interests including gardening, cooking, sewing, arts and crafts, bowling, music, sports, and games and traveling with her husband. She was employed at CBS Hytron and Owens-Illinois in Newburyport, MA, Louis Shoe and Microfab in Amesbury, MA. She was self-employed for twenty years in the electronic industry in the Boston area. Louise was preceded in death by her father William Peverada, her stepfather Paul Muscavitz Jr., her brother Lawrence Peverada, her stepson Karl Hagar and her granddaughters Amanda and Marie. Louise is survived by her husband Robert P. Hagar Sr. with whom she retired to Arizona, her mother Thelma (Young) Muscavitz of Georgetown, MA, her brother Richard Peverada and his wife Patricia of Beverly, MA, her ten children Judith (Ridge) Dexter of Portland, ME, Deborah Ridge of Grey, ME, Sandra (Grandmaison) Provencher of Rochester, NH, Samuel Grandmaison Jr. of Canyon Country, CA, Sarah Grandmaison, Donna Grandmaison of Lake Worth, FL, Pamela (Grandmaison) Adams of Hickory, NC, Peter Grandmaison of Farmington, NH, Jeffery Grandmaison of Springfield, MO and Sharon Grandmaison of Rockport, MA, four stepchildren; Nancy (Grandmaison) Dacey of Haverhill, MA, Shar (Grandmaison) Frazier of Haverhill, MA, Robert Hagar Jr. and Jean (Hagar) Lay of Superior, CO, 36 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Hagar has requested no funeral. A mass will be said in honor of her birthday May 30th at Holy Cross Church, South Portland, Maine at 7:30 a.m. Donations may be sent to the American Diabetes Association in her memory.
