Juana E Ovalle
Feb 02, 1942   -   January 15, 2010

Obituary posted by : Frances Dickerson ,  Daughter
Person Description
Juana Ovalle had many Friends, loved by many. She had many grandchildren that will cherish her for many years to come. She made beautiful memories with them, many stories will be told in her name.
She was also a very hard working woman, came from Monterrey,Nuevo Leon,Mexico,on her own for a better life in America, worked as a seamtress for many years with fine silver and levi's,sewing pant pockets. She bought her hm and paid her mortgage off, which needless to say was something she took much pride in.She started a catering service, the family would help with, fun memories there, she was in the restaurant and bar business for a few years in her younger years also, always a very busy lady.
Lucky in love she married twice, raising her beautiful four children. We didnt have much at times,in our childhood years, but what we did have, she worked hard for.She was a strong woman never let harships bring her down, she was widowed at a very young age of early 30's and remarried and was to be widowed again in her 50's but she always seem to go on with some strenght,I dont know where she found it,maybe in her children.Even on her last days when she was too ill to get around, she would speak of taking the bus, going downtown, feeding the pigeons at main plaza eating a carne guisada taco and having a beer.We will always remember her by her strong free spirit she now gets to be,in heaven.
