Lillian Moira Rappe, a Writer Who Fought For NYC Dog Laws, Dies at 90
Lilian Rappe, socialite, International Secretary for RCA and writer who published “Faversham, Landmark Dog of Manhattan,” the story of a war she waged and won against the landlords of a luxury apartment building in Battery Park, died on Aug. 27 in Succasunna, NJ. She was 90. The cause was complications of Alzheimer’s Disease.
