Francis John ‘Frank’ Streibig Jr passed away January XXXth following complications from surgery. He was 76 years old. Born and raised in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia, PA, he was the only child of the late Francis John Sr and Doris Streibig. A graduate of Roman Catholic High School, and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served onboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Essex. Stationed in Jacksonville, FL, Essex joined with the U.S. 2nd Naval Fleet and British ships in Atlantic exercises and with NATO forces in the eastern Mediterranean during the fall of 1959. In December she aided victims of a disastrous flood at Fréjus, France.
An Eastern Airlines employee for 32 years, he transferred to the Daytona Beach Airport in 1976 and settled in Port Orange, FL where he remained until his death.

An amazing and prolific artistic talent, he was locally known for landscapes done in oil and pastel notably the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse. He enjoyed spending warm, sunny days on Daytona’s beaches, and he enjoyed traveling – most recently cruising the Caribbean with his cherished friends Sidney and Fay Davis of Port Orange, FL.

Beloved husband to Janice (Edinger) Streibig for 32 years, father to Doreen Mcgettigan and her husband John of West Chester, PA, Denise DaPonte and her husband Anthony of Bristol, PA, Francis John Streibig III and his wife Cheryl of Doylestown, PA, and stepson John Dicerbo of Landisville, NJ.

Grandfather to Joan (Brinkerhoff) Nocito, James Brinkerhoff Jr., Renee DaPonte and Anthony DaPonte all of Bristol, PA; Jill (Brinkerhoff) Timm of Philadelphia, PA; Andrew Patterson, Alexis Patterson, Barron Streibig and Ava Streibig of Doylestown, PA; and Robert Dicerbo, Michael Dicerbo and Nicholas Dicerbo of Washington Township, NJ.

Great-Grandfather to Allyson Nocito, Dominic Nocito Jr., Adrianna Nocito, Julia Brinkerhoff, James Brinkerhoff III, Morgan Timm, Avery Timm, Peyton Timm, Evelyn Grace DaPonte and Myles David DaPonte.

Interment will be private.
