|Obituary posted by : Carma McConahay , Niece || Person Description|| Eddie Leroy Malcolm- \\\\\\\"Roni\\\\\\\"
Died unexpectedly and peacefully at home with Carma and Jerry and “Earnie” on November 7, 2014 in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 71.
The love of his life Cathy Martin, his brother Earnest “Earnie” Malcolm survives Eddie, as well does his sisters Donna Griggs and Kathy Saunders., and as well as many nieces and nephews and his four-legged children.
Eddie held all of them dearly to his heart. Eddie is preceded in death by his father Edmond Malcolm and his mother Martha Brown.
Eddie was born on July 20, 1943 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was a disabled veteran that was very proud of the time he gave service to his country. Eddie and his brother made the choice never to marry and live with and give care to their mother until she was taken home. Eddie and Earnest continued to live with each other as brothers and best friends.
Eddie was an accomplished artist who has paintings hanging in many of the military hospitals throughout the Colorado area, still today. Eddie loved fishing, and camping he was an individual who was passionate about animals and knew them as his children, not pets. Eddie is now fishing in the most magnificent lakes in heaven.
Eddie’s family will miss the funny faces when he would be playing, and he had a great way of showing how he loved and needed people using expressions.
Eddie wanted to be laid to rest without a service, and he wished those that knew him to remember him playful, and as a dedicated animal lover, and through his paintings.
